SATURDAY NIGHT: Our overnight period continues to stay dry and warm as temperatures struggle to cool off. We will only “cool off” to the mid 70’s yet again, but at least clear skies stay consistent. If you love your astronomy and are looking for your favorite constellations, tonight is another perfect night to enjoy.
SUNDAY: More heat is in store for our Sunday. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s and the afternoon will top out in the upper 90s with a few of us reaching the triple digits once again. This will once again probably set a few new record highs in our area. Rain chances are possible, but coverage is still very isolated so don’t count on much. Just make sure to exercise extreme heat caution through Sunday plans.
NEXT WEEK: Better rain chances build for the start of the week with a few brief heavy downpours and rumbles of thunder. Coverage will be scattered, but more impacts can be expected compared to the weekend. Temperatures will be the real story through next week. While the week starts hot, these rain chances will bring in cooler air behind it finally allowing us to feel average. This will be the first time in a while this is possible.
