What to expect today

SUNDAY NIGHT: Dry conditions have finally returned for all of north Mississippi. We will continue this dry trend into the overnight period ahead as we cool off to the upper 60’s for overnight low’s. We know another Monday morning is in store tomorrow, but it will be a beautiful start to the first Monday in August.

THE WORK WEEK: Temperatures will gradually increase as we head into the work week. The start of the week will still be in the upper 80s, but by the end of the week we will be reaching into the mid 90s. With that being said, the drier conditions will stick around as rain chances remain very limited through any of those weekday plans. Thankfully, we won’t have to deal with the Mississippi Mugginess that we have been so accustomed to the past few weeks. Heat indices will be very bearable throughout the work week, but will start to rise as we get ready for the next weekend ahead.
